My pet ate a toxic plant - what do I do?
Remove plant material from mouth. Identify the plant (take a photo). Call ASPCA Poison Control (888-426-4435) or your vet. Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed. Most houseplant toxicities cause oral irritation and GI upset, not death - but some (lilies for cats, sago palms) are life-threatening.
