Cat Body Condition Score Scale

BCS	Condition	Description
1-3	Underweight	Ribs/spine/pelvis visible. Minimal muscle mass. Needs vet evaluation.
4-5	Ideal	Ribs easily felt but not visible. Visible waist. Slight belly tuck.
6-7	Overweight	Ribs covered with fat. Waist barely visible. Belly rounding.
8-9	Obese	Cannot feel ribs. No waist. Fat deposits on face, limbs, belly.
