Is bigger always better for bird cages?
YES - always get the largest cage you can afford and fit. The minimums listed are absolute minimums for when the bird has daily out-of-cage time. Birds in cages full-time need MUCH larger enclosures. Width matters more than height for most species (birds fly horizontally).
