Is raw feeding safe?
Raw feeding is controversial. Proponents cite shinier coats, cleaner teeth, and better digestion. Critics note bacterial contamination risk (Salmonella, E. coli) and nutritional imbalance if not properly formulated. Consult a veterinary nutritionist if choosing raw.
What bones are safe for raw feeding?
Raw meaty bones only (chicken necks/backs/wings, turkey necks, duck frames). NEVER cooked bones (splinter dangerously). Size-appropriate: bones should be larger than the dog can swallow whole. Always supervise bone consumption.
